8 by Eight
This March, 8 of the UK’s pre-eminent street and documentary photographers will be coming together to present a collaborative exhibition and print sale at The Margate School. Works from Craig Whitehead, Dan Baker, Mark Fearnley, David Babaian, Luke Saxon, Roman Fox, Matt Hall and Clem Onojeghuo will be on display across 8 walls at The Margate School’s gallery on Margate High Street. All artists will be donating 50% of sales proceeds towards the current fund raising campaign that the school is undertaking to secure its future as a unique and cherished arts school and community in the town.
The exhibition and print sale will open at 7pm for a launch event on Saturday 11th March and will run until Thursday 23rd March. Workshops and talks with the artists will also be held throughout the running time of the exhibition and bookings for these will be taken on the launch night. If you cannot make the launch but would like to take part in a workshop or a talk, please get in touch to secure your place.
